GOLF COURSE CARE TIPS
BUNKERS:
· It is best to enter and exit the bunker at the low side on the same path to avoid and damage to the bunker face.
· Use the rakes provided to smooth the sand surface, not shoes or clubs.
· Rake footprints and depressions after bunker shots, leave a smooth surface
· Golf courses may ask the golfers to leave the rakes in the bunkers, if so place them on a flat surface.
· Golf courses may ask the golfers to leave the rakes outside the bunkers.
· Golf courses may require the rakes be kept on the golf carts.
· Remove broken tees from the surface.
· Fill all divots made with soil and seed mixture, fill until smooth and even. Especially on the par 3 holes.
· Replace divots if possible on courses that require it.
PUTTING GREEN:
· Repair ball marks with proper tool.
· Do not lean on clubs while waiting to putt.
· Do not use your club head the remove the ball out of the hole.
· Keep all carts away from the putting surface.
· Replace the flagstick properly, it should stand straight not leaning.
