GOLF COURSE CARE TIPS

BUNKERS:

·           It is best to enter and exit the bunker at the low side on the same path to avoid and damage to the bunker face.

·           Use the rakes provided to smooth the sand surface, not shoes or clubs.

·           Rake footprints and depressions after bunker shots, leave a smooth surface

·           Golf courses may ask the golfers to leave the rakes in the bunkers, if so place them on a flat surface.

·           Golf courses may ask the golfers to leave the rakes outside the bunkers.

·           Golf courses may require the rakes be kept on the golf carts.

TEEING GROUND:

·           Remove broken tees from the surface.

·           Fill all divots made with soil and seed mixture, fill until smooth and even. Especially on the par 3 holes.

·           Replace divots if possible on courses that require it.

PUTTING GREEN:

·           Repair ball marks with proper tool.

·           Do not lean on clubs while waiting to putt.

·           Do not use your club head the remove the ball out of the hole.

·           Keep all carts away from the putting surface.

·           Replace the flagstick properly, it should stand straight not leaning.
